赵宗保，研究员，博士生导师，研究组组长，大连化物所生物技术部副主任。国家杰出青年科学基金获得者。曾享受国务院政府特殊津贴。曾获中国科学院“引进国外杰出人才”、辽宁省“优秀科技工作者”、辽宁省学术头雁、中国可再生能源学会“优秀科技工作者”、中国科学院“朱李月华”优秀教师和大连市劳动模范等荣誉。任学术期刊《FEMS Yeast Research》和《Bioresources and Bioprocessing》编辑。中国化学会高级会员、中国化工学会生物化工专委会副主任委员。中国化学会化学生物学、中国可再生能源学会生物质能、中国微生物学会分子微生物学及生物工程、中国生物工程学会合成生物学及一碳生物技术、中国化工学会离子液体和中国石化联合会生物化工与生物质能源等专委会委员。辽宁省可再生能源学会副会长。美国化学会、英国皇家化学会和美国微生物学会等学会会员。

　　1990年、1995年先后在湖南师范大学化学系获理学学士学位和硕士学位。

　　1998年在中科院上海有机化学研究所获理学博士学位，专业有机合成。

　　1998年至2003年先后在美国明尼苏达大学和德克萨斯大学从事博士后研究，方向为生物有机化学和微生物代谢工程。

　　2003年11月到中科院大连化物所生物技术研究部工作，从事能源生物技术、分子微生物学和化学生物学研究。具有代表性的研究包括：微生物油脂技术及生物质炼制、非天然辅酶及能量代谢工程、合成微生物学和化学蛋白质组学等。已在Nature, Nat. Chem. Biol., Nat. Commun., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Biotechnol. Biofuels和Bioresour. Technol.等学术刊物上发表论文280余篇，授权发明专利60余件。曾获辽宁省自然科学二等奖（2021、2018、2017）、大连市技术发明一等奖（2018、2013）和中国药学会科学技术一等奖（2015）等奖项。
